MOK & TON –  the newest brand in quality leather apparels –emerged from the amalgamation of two business familiesof South India, one in North Kerala and the other in North Arcot District of Tamil Nadu.  The Tamton family of Kozhikode, Kerala has a century-old business legacy in textiles, with their flagship store T.K. Mahamood & Co. established at S. M. Street,Kozhikodein 1911. Popular showrooms in Kerala and the UAE like “Silky”, “Kalyan Kendra” and “Teekey The Bridal Heritage” are testimony to the success of the current generation of the Tamtons in the textiles field, propelling them to foray into new vistas including leather goods. The chief promoters of the MOK & TON brand, Mr. Johar Tamton and Mr. Arshad Abdulla, are third generation Tamtons and leading textile businessmen in their own rights.

The Mokaney family from Pernambet (North Arcot District, Tamil Nadu) has a long and flourishing heritage in the business of leather tanning and leather goods manufacturing. With world class tanneries located at the virtual leather capital of South India, the family has been using traditional craftsmanship to create the best of genuine leather accessories for many of the finest and renowned brands across the globe.

Now, coming from the same house, albeit being a newbie in the footwear industry, we at MOK & TON are quite optimistic and filled with enthusiasm in what we do. MOK & TON was conceived in the year 2019 and since then we have been updating ourselves pertaining to the designs, comfort levels and of course, quality according to the taste of our target customers.
